LOAN WATCH | YOUNG GIANTS OUT ON LOAN

Let's take a look at the current Giants and how they're getting on at their loan clubs.

We'll start in Super League with Matty English, who is on a short term loan with the Castleford Tigers made his debut with the club vs Wigan Warriors, as they came close to securing two-points with the recent Challenge Cup winners, however they lost out 8-10 on the evening.

Fenton Rogers featured for Bradford Bulls in the Championship, up in Whitehaven as they recorded a 18-36 win and Fenton playing a large part of the game, after being introduced from the interchange bench.

Aidan McGowan who also has been on-loan at Bradford narrowly missed out on selection, although has impressed during the season playing at full-back and wing.

A trio of Giants also played for Dewsbury Rams at the weekend as they faced York Knights, with Kieran Rush, Jack Billington and Jack Bibby all featuring, however the Rams suffered a disappointing 0-40 loss at home, crucial game time for our young Giants is needed though and the Championship is a great competitive league for young players to gain experience, which all three have been doing throughout the year.

Connor Carr is still undergoing rehab for an injury sustained in Bradford's win over Toulouse, in which he suffered an injury to his ankle, and is looking to return to action in the near future.

Luca Atkinson, young Reserve forward also played for Whitehaven RLFC in their 28-28 draw two weeks ago vs Doncaster, as he is given a taste of Championship Rugby League, however due to numbers he was recalled to the Giants reserves this weekend.
